Hi, I'm Beth. I am a licensed therapist, a mom, and just a girl who smiles a lot and believes the world needs a lot more kindness in it. I started my Tiktok account after realizing how many people, especially men, go through life never hearing kindness or being told that they matter. The reality that my son will grow up in a world where men don't hear kindness didn't sit well with me. Hearing my male veteran clients and my friends openly admitting to never hearing it either made me feel like I needed to do something and so my Tiktok was started and this is why it is so personal to me.This space is more than just offering therapy and coaching to those interested. It's about working towards eventually growing a community built around healing, connection, and showing up for yourself and others.Whether you need therapy or coaching or are just curious about me, I am happy that you are here.
I am excited to share there is more coming soon - a community space, a monthly blog and more. Stay connected on Tiktok while we grow. 🦋
Where I share a little kindness with your brain, daily affirmations, and something to help you pause for a moment, because the internet needs more of that.
I'm proud of you.I'm happy you're here.Look for a good, share a kindness.
I changed the course of my tiktok account because of a combat veteran... I was in session and at the end of a particularly difficult one I looked at him and whole-heartedly said, "I'm proud of you." He looked a little stunned and then said, "Okay, see you next week, Beth!" then promptly left our telehealth session. I sat at my desk for a few moments and was confused and the next week he joined session and I said, "Oh no you don't! What was that about?!" He laughed then sighed and said, "I have never heard someone say those words to me." I was slightly shocked and said, "Your Mom? Your Dad? Your brothers? Your ex-wife? Your girlfriend??" He simply nodded no to each one that I listed. I was quiet for a moment and told him, "Well I am proud of you, you're doing a good job." His eyes just slightly teared up and then we began session. I had wanted to create a platform to inform and explain and advocate for Veteran mental health, but in that moment everything changed. I realized how deeply sad it made me that men sometimes don't hear kindness, or words of encouragement, and I set out to change that one Tiktok at a time. C.G. If you happen to see this, you are the reason for this and fyi I am still proud of you.
Your life has meaning, it matters, you got this.
